MacroGenics Raises $25 Million

MacroGenics Inc., a Rockville, Md.-based drug company focused on autoimmune disorders, cancer and infectious diseases, has raised $25 million in Series D-2 funding. Nextech Ventures led the round, and was joined by Arcus Ventures, Innovis Investments, Eli Lilly & Co. and return backers Alexandria Real Estate, Alta Partners, CIDC, InterWest Partners, Mitsubishi UFJ, OrbiMed Advisors, Red Abbey Venture Partners, RiverVest, Texas Pacific Group Ventures and Ventures West.
