Magenta Therapeutics snags $48.5 mln Series A

Cambridge, Massachusetts-based biotech company Magenta Therapeutics has closed $48.5 million in Series A financing. Third Rock Ventures LLC and Atlas Venture led the round with participation from other backers that included GV, Access Industries (Blavatnik Group) and Partners Innovation Fund.
