MapR Tech adds to leadership team
MapR Technologies Inc said Wednesday that David Cross has joined as Chief Marketing Officer and member of the executive team. Jack Norris will assume the role of SVP, Data and Application, while Geneva Lake will take on the role of VP of Worldwide Business Development. MapR, which provides a converged data platform for big data technology, is backed by Google Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, NEA, Qualcomm Ventures and Redpoint Ventures.
