MapR Technologies Closes on $30M Series C

Mayfield Fund led a $30 million Series C round for Hadoop technology company MapR Technologies Inc. Existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, NEA and Redpoint Ventures also participated, bringing total funds raised to $59 million. The Series C round will be used for expansion, and research and development.
