Mike Woollatt tapped as CVCA's first CEO
Canada's Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) has appointed Mike Woollatt as the organization's first chief executive officer. Prior to joining the CVCA, Woollatt co-founded Beaconsfield Group, a management consulting and public affairs firm. He has also held executive roles at various Canadian corporations, including Bell Canada, CTVglobemedia, and Canwest Global Communications. The CVCA also acknowledged with appreciation the departure of its executive director, Richard Rémillard, who as previously reported by peHUB Canada, is leaving to form a consulting firm specializing in financial services.
