Moderna Therapeutics Backed by $40M

Cambridge, Mass.-based Moderna Therapeutics has closed on more than $40 million in financing to date, led by Flagship Ventures, the company announced Thursday. The company is developing “messenger RNA Therapeutics.” Moderna was founded within Flagship VentureLabs.
