Nasdaq to buy eVestment

Nasdaq said Sept. 5 that it is buying eVestment for $705 million. Nasdaq said it would fund the deal through a mix of debt and cash on hand. Insight Venture Partners is one of the sellers. Buyouts reported last month that Nasdaq was one of the bidders for eVestment, which provides institutional investment data and analytics.
