Nearbuy Systems Inks $1M
Nearbuy Systems has raised $1 million from Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors and Metamorphic Ventures. The company, which makes indoor “mico-location” marketing software, will use the money for continued development of its system, and to get the technology into retail stores. Nearbuy is based in Menlo Park, Calif.
