NorthEdge Capital raises £120m

The Manchester, UK-based lower mid-market investor holds one and done close.

NorthEdge Capital has held a first and final close of NorthEdge Capital SME Fund I at its £120 million hardcap. The fund will invest between £2 million and £10 million in companies based in the North of England and the Midlands, in growth capital, management buyouts, equity release and buy-and-build opportunities.

All capital raised for the fund came from existing investors.

Houlihan Lokey was the exclusive placement agent for the fundraise.
