NVCA Study Finds 1/3 Of Recently Public Venture Funded Companies Have Immigrant Founders

A growing number of venture-backed public companies have immigrant founders, according to a study from the National Venture Capital Association. The study found that one third of venture-backed companies that went public in the United States between 2006 and 2012 had at least one immigrant founder. This is up from 20% of companies with public offerings prior to January 2006 and 7% with offerings prior to 1980.
