PacketZoom takes in $4.3 mln
San Mateo, California-based PacketZoom, a mobile content delivery network, has raised $4.3 million in funding. First Round Capital and Baseline Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Founders Collective and Tandem Capital. Also, PacketZoom has named Shlomi Gian as CEO. Gian co-founded Akamai's Emerging Mobile Business Unit and served as the head of mobile market development.
