PayPal buys VC-backed StackMob
According to an announcement on its site by CEO and co-founder Ty Amell, StackMob has been acquired by PayPal. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in San Francisco, StackMob is a mobile platform provider that helps developers create a mobile business. Its backers were Trinity Ventures, Harrison Metal Capital and Baseline Ventures.
