Authentic Brands and Waitt Close Buy of Fashion Brands
Toronto-based Authentic Brands Group LLC, a portfolio company of private equity firms Leonard Green & Partners and Knight's Bridge Capital Partners since 2010, has completed a co-investment with Waitt Company to acquire fashion brands Judith Leiber, Adrienne Vittadini and Taryn Rose. Financial terms of the acquisitions from Schottenstein Luxury Group were undisclosed. Authentic Brands is an intellectual property company focused on acquiring and managing prominent consumer brands.
