PE-backed MHS to buy VanRiet
Material Handling Systems, a portfolio company of Thomas H. Lee Partners, has agreed to acquire VanRiet, a Dutch provider of integration systems, equipment and after-market services solutions. The sellers include Avedon Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. PricewaterhouseCoopers provided accounting and tax advice to MHS with Kirkland & Ellis LLP serving as legal counsel. And, Robert W. Baird Limited was financial adviser to VanRiet while Allen & Overy LLP acted as legal counsel.
