PE-backed The Container Store to sell 12.5 mln shares in IPO

The Container Store Inc is planning to sell 12.5 million shares in an initial public offering, with the proceeds to be used to pay a dividend to its private equity owner, Leonard Green & Partners LP, according to an SEC filing.
