PE-backed The Original Cakerie taps Lapadat as CEO

The Original Cakerie, a Canadian maker of frozen desserts, has appointed Paul J. Lapadat as CEO. Also, Chris W. Rogers has been named chief financial officer for the company's holding company while Doris Bitz will become The Original Cakerie's president. The Original Cakerie is a portfolio company of Gryphon Investors.
