Pharmaceutical startup MyoKardia names new board member

MyoKardia said Monday that it has appointed Mark L. Perry to its board of directors. Perry has served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Third Rock Ventures and as president, CEO and director of Aerovance. Based in South San Francisco, Calif., MyoKardia, which was launched by Third Rock Ventures, is a pharmaceutical company that focuses on developing new drugs that will treat genetic heart disease.
