Pine Brook has promoted Annie Sloyer to chief financial officer and Claire Harvey to principal on the firm’s energy investment team, the firm said in a statement.
Sloyer joined Pine Brook in 2010 and served as controller until her promotion, according to her LinkedIn profile. Earlier in her career, she was fund controller at Olympus Capital for three years and manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers for almost six years.
Harvey joined Pine Brook in 2014 as a member of the energy investment team. Based in Pine Brook’s Houston office, she is director of Pine Brook portfolio company Red Bluff Resources. Before joining the firm, she was principal at TPH Partners, where she focused on the upstream, midstream and oilfield services sectors, the firm said.
The firm concurrently announced the promotion of two vice presidents in the investor relations team.
Julia Hart joined Pine Brook in 2011 after more than seven years at HarbourVest Partners, the firm said. Thomas Nielsen joined Pine Brook in 2012 after serving as senior marketing associate at UBP Asset Management.
In September, Pine Brook appointed two new managing directors to its financial services team, as Private Equity International reported. Nicholaos Krenteras joined the firm in 2006 and served as associate until his promotion and Bharath Srikrishnan was hired from Five Mile Capital.
Pine Brook has over $6 billion in committed capital and focuses on the energy and financial services sectors. It is currently investing Pine Brook Capital Partners II, a $2.44 billion vehicle, according to PEI’s Research & Analytics division.
