PPM America Capital Partners raises $648m

The Chicago-based investment manager closes one of its largest co-investment vehicles to date.

PPM America Private Equity Fund VII has held a final close at $648 million. The fund is one of the firm’s largest co-investment vehicles and will continue PPM America Capital Partners‘ long-term strategy of investing in North American middle market buyout and growth opportunities.

PPM America Private Equity Fund VI was significantly smaller, having closed at $220 million in 2016.
