Proofpoint to acquire VC-backed Emerging Threats for about $40 mln
Proofpoint has agreed to buy Emerging Threats, an Indianapolis-based cybersecurity research company. The value of the transaction is about $40 million. Emerging Threats's backers included Elevate Ventures and HALO Capital Group.
