Proterra rakes in $140 mln
Proterra, a maker of zero-emission vehicles that enable bus fleet operators to eliminate the dependency on fossil fuels, has raised $140 million in funding. The investors included Tao Capital Partners, Kleiner Perkins, GM Ventures, Constellation Technology Ventures, 88 Green Ventures and Edison Energy Inc.
