Pure Storage closes $225 mln funding at over $3 bln valuation

Pure Storage, an all-flash enterprise storage array company, has closed a $225 million Series F funding round at a valuation of more than $3 billion. The funding round included contributions from T. Rowe Price Associates, Tiger Global and new investor, Wellington Management Company. The funding round also included participation from previous investors Greylock Partners, Index Ventures, Redpoint Ventures and Sutter Hill Ventures. Total capital raised is now at $470 million.
