Red Hat to buy VC-backed CoreOS for $250 mln
Red Hat Inc has agreed to acquire San Francisco-based CoreOS Inc, a creator of CoreOS Tectonic, an enterprise-ready Kubernetes platform. The purchase price is $250 million. According to Crunchbase, CoreOS Inc's backers include Accel Partners, GV, Intel Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Caufield & Byers and Y Combinator.
