Red Robot Labs Seals $8.5M

Benchmark Capital led an $8.5 million round for mobile gaming startup Red Robot Labs. Shasta Ventures and existing investors Rick Thompson, co-founder of Playdom, and former Facebook executive Chamath Palihapitiya also participated in the Series A round. The company will use the infusion to continue development of its gaming platform, and for growth efforts.
