Revolution Growth backs organic food chain Sweetgreen

Sweetgreen said Wednesday that it has received $22 million in funding from Revolution Growth. As a result of the transaction, Steve Case, co-founder of Revolution Growth, will join the company's board and serve as an advisor to its founders. According to the company, the capital will be used for national expansion, personnel hiring and marketing. Based in Washington, D.C., Sweetgreen is an organic food chain on the East Coast.
