Ride-hailing platform Grab launches VC unit
Singapore-based ride-hailing platform Grab Inc has launched Grab Ventures, which will invest in Southeast Asia startups in the transportation, food, logistics and financial services sectors. Among the startups currently in Grab Ventures' portfolio are GrabCycle, a marketplace for multiple personal mobility partners; Drive.ai, a provider of AI solutions for autonomous vehicles; and iKaaz, an emerging markets mobile payments platform.
