Rift.io raises $16 mln

Rift.io said Thursday it closed a $16 million Series A round led by North Bridge Venture Partners. Other strategic investors also participated. Burlington, Massachusetts-based Rift.io provides open source, hyperscale network virtualization software that aims to simplify the development, deployment and management of virtual network services, applications and functions.
