Roche to buy Adheron Therapeutics
Roche has agreed to buy Adheron Therapeutics for $105 million. The deal includes $475 million in additional contingent payments based on achievement of certain predetermined milestones. Berkeley, California-based Adheron is a biotechnology company. Adheron investors include Health Care Ventures, MedImmune Ventures, Partners Innovation Fund, Amgen Ventures, and SROne.
