RXR Realty and SL Green Realty Corp buy stake in midtown Manhattan office property

Investment manager RXR Realty and SL Green Realty Corp, a New York City-based office property owner, have agreed to acquire a combined 48.7 percent stake in Worldwide Plaza, an office building in midtown Manhattan. New York REIT and WWP Sponsor LLC will retain the remaining equity stake. The transaction, which values the asset at $1.725 billion, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
