Seikowsky to head DB Capital in Germany

The former Bain consultant and eVolution man will look after Deutsche’s later-stage private equity business in German-speaking countries.

DB Capital Partners, the Deutsche Bank division that last week officially took sole control of the bank’s entire private equity business, has hired Fritz Seikovsky as head of the firm’s Frankfurt office. He will be reporting to the DB Capital’s managing partner in Europe, Graham Clempson.

Seikovsky spent 16 years at Bain & Company, the management consultants, where prior to heading the firm’s German and Swiss operation he helped launch the firm’s European private equity group and worked with a number US and European buyout firms.

More recently, Seikovsky spent his time focusing on early stage and technology situations. He was a senior officer at eVolution, the venture capital firm focusing on the corporate venture market set up jointly by Bain and venture capitalists Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Texas Pacific Group.

Clempson said Seikovsky had a strong background in integrated transformation, private equity and consulting, and would be able to generate dealflow. “His extensive contacts within German and the German-speaking business community will be invaluable in sourcing new deals, as well as creating corporate partnerships for future investments”, Clempson said in a statement.
