Sequoia Capital raises $695m

The US venture capital investment firm wrapped up the fundraising of its sixth India-focused vehicle.

Sequoia Capital has raised a total of $695 million and held the final close for its sixth India-focused VC fund, Sequoia Capital India VI.

Fund VI will follow the same investment strategy in the fund series, focusing on early and growth-stage companies in the technology, consumer and healthcare sectors across India and Southeast Asian region.
