Sikka Software fetches $5.5 mln

Milpitas, California-based Sikka Software, a retail healthcare cloud platform, has closed $5.5 million in Series B funding. Sierra Ventures led the round with participation from previous backer ATA Ventures. In addition to the funding, Mark Fernandes of Sierra Ventures has been added to Sikka Software's board of directors.
