SimpliVity snags $58 mln in Series C funds

SimpliVity Corp. has closed $58 million in Series C funding. Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and DFJ led the round with participation from Meritech Capital Partners, Swisscom Ventures, Accel and Charles River Ventures. According to the company, the capital infusion will be used for growth. Based in Westborough, Mass., SimpliVity Corp is an IT infrastructure firm.
