Simpplr bags $6 mln Series A

Milpitas, California-based Simpplr, an employee success company, has secured $6 million in Series A funding. Norwest Venture Partners led the round with participation from Salesforce Ventures. Concurrent with the funding, Promod Haque, a senior managing partner at Norwest, has been added to Simpplr's board of directors.
