SlashNext takes in $9 mln Series A

Pleasanton, California-based SlashNext, a cyber security company, has raised $9 million in Series A funding. Norwest Venture Partners and Wing Venture Capital led the round. In addition to the funding, Promod Haque of Norwest Venture Partners and Gaurav Garg of Wing Venture Capital have been appointed to SlashNext's board of directors.
