SnagFilms Secures $10 Million In Growth Financing
SnagFilms secured $10 million in growth capital from new investors New Enterprise Associates Inc. of Menlo Park, Calif., and Comcast Interactive Capital of Philadelphia, Pa. SnagFilm founder Ted Leonsis and Steve Case, who are both existing investors, participated in the latest round. Snagfilms plans to use the financing used to expand its distribution of independent films. Snagfilms is a web site that allows users to watch full-length documentary films for free.
