Socio procures $6 mln Series A

Socio, an event management platform for organizations to optimize their live events, has secured $6 million in Series A funding. High Alpha Capital led the round with participation from Greenspring Associates. In addition to the funding, Mike Fitzgerald, a partner at High Alpha, will join Socio's board.
