Strategic Education launches SEI Ventures

Strategic Education Inc, an education services holding company, has launched SEI Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund that will back education tech startups. SEI Ventures has already made its first investment: $500,000 in ecree, an automated assessment tool that helps students improve their writing.
