Studzinski joins Pimco as vice chairman

Pimco said Sept. 5 that has hired John Studzinski as a managing director and vice chairman. He will advise clients like pension funds, governments and sovereign wealth funds, the New York Times said. Studzinski, a dealmaker, was previously with Blackstone Group where he was vice chairman, investor relations and business development and senior managing director.
