Synopsys Buys VC-Backed Synfora
Synopsys Inc. has acquired Synfora Inc., a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of algorithmic synthesis tools for IC and system designers. No financial terms were disclosed. Synfora has raised around $27 million in VC funding, from firms like ATA Ventures, Foundation Capital, Wafra Partners, Xilinx and U.S. Venture Partners.
