TA Associates invests in Flexera

TA Associates said Dec. 19 that it has invested in Flexera. TA said it is buying equity from existing investors and is working with lead investor Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan to continue to grow the company. Financial terms weren’t announced. Ontario Teachers acquired a majority stake in Flexera in 2011. Flexera, of Itasca, Illinois, is a software developer.
