Tava Indian Kitchen grabs $4.5 mln
California Bay area Indian restaurant chain Tava Indian Kitchen has raised $4.5 million in funding. The investors were CircleUp Growth Fund, Kensington Capital, Agilic Capital and former Smashburger CEO David Prokupek via his investment fund HiGrowth Advisors. In addition to the funding, Prokupek has been added to Tava’s board of directors.
