TD Ameritrade to buy Scottrade in two-step deal with TD Bank: Reuters

TD Ameritrade Holding Corp (AMTD.O) said on Monday it and Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD.TO) would buy privately held Scottrade Financial Services Inc in a deal valued at $4 billion, combining two of the biggest U.S. discount brokerages, Reuters reported.
