THL to acquire Alfresco Software

Thomas H. Lee Partners LP has agreed to acquire San Mateo, California and UK-based Alfresco Software, an enterprise open-source provider of process automation, content management and information governance software. No financial terms were disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of this year. RBC Capital Markets LLC was financial adviser to Alfresco on the transaction.
