TRI Pointe Homes Forms Partnership With Starwood Capital Affiliate, Gets $150M

TRI Pointe Homes LLC formed a partnership with a Starwood Capital Group Global LP affiliate. The partnership provided TRI Pointe, a California-based homebuilder, with $150 million. TRI Pointe plans to use the capital to expand its operations in California and the Western region. Starwood Capital of Connecticut has about $16 billion in assets under management.
