TRT taps Smith as MD and head of originations

TPG Real Estate Finance Trust Inc, the real estate platform of TPG, has named Peter Smith as managing director and head of originations. Previously, Smith worked at Ladder Capital Corp where he served as managing director. His appointment begins in late November.
