Understory gets $7.5 mln Series A from 4490 Ventures, Monsanto
Understory, a developer of weather sensor hardware and hyper-local data networks, received $7.5 million in Series A funding. Monsanto Growth Ventures and 4490 Ventures led the round with participation from returning investors True Ventures, RRE Ventures and SK Ventures as well as new backer CSA Partners. Understory will relocate its headquarters from Boston to Madison, Wisconsin.
