University of California Regents private equity MD to become CIO of Irvine Foundation

California-based nonprofit The James Irvine Foundation has appointed Tim Recker as its new chief investment officer. Recker will be succeeding John Jenks who will retire in January. Currently, Recker is the managing director for private equity and real assets at the Regents of the University of California.
