Unmute app scores $2.2 mln seed
Los Angeles-based Unmute, an interactive conversation app, has raised $2.2 million in seed funding. Greycroft Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Comcast Ventures, Crosscut Ventures, Betaworks, NBA Commissioner Emeritus David Stern and Robert Kirkman, creator of the TV series "The Walking Dead."
