Valhalla Adds Storage Hotshot Farah Giga
Valhalla Partners has hired 28-year-old Farah Giga away from HP, adding her as the firm’s newest principal. Giga began working in data storage technology in 2002, as a 19-years-old Stanford student. That year she sealed a job with Hitachi Data Systems. She stayed with the company through her undergraduate degree and two master’s degrees from Stanford, working across software development, technical marketing and architecture. Giga started at HP in 2009, and most notably served as integration lead following the acquisition of 3PAR, which at $2.35 billion, was the largest in the history of HP Storage.
